Critical Bug Fixes for Worship App
N
Nick Smith
The Tithely Worship app has been a pretty frustrating experience so far. Every Sunday, someone on our worship team has an issue with the app not working correctly. Sometimes, it won't let a user log into their account. Other times, it crashes and has to be reinstalled to fix it. I'm a tech guy, and I know basic troubleshooting steps. We run through them, and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. It doesn't seem to be a user issue but a buggy app issue. It's almost unusable for us on Sunday mornings, and it can be more of a hindrance than helpful. The app hasn't received any updates since its launch in 2020. Reviews from other churches on both app stores share the same sentiment. I contacted Tithely support about the situation. Not only was I not provided with any tangible troubleshooting solutions, but I was told that they had no current plans to fix or further develop the app; that's unacceptable to us as paying users. We want to use the Tithely Worship app and connected Elvanto system as a part of our Tithely All Access subscription. However, in the Tithely Worship app's current state of dysfunction, it's easier to use simple PDF files than the app, which is advertised as a tool to make worship team collaboration more efficient. We'll have to switch back to PDFs in the meantime or look at an alternative music sheet app until it's fixed. The app feels broken, neglected, and forgotten about by Tithely. The Worship app requires critical bug fixes for it to be used by customers in the future.

We currently use OnSong and would love to switch to Tithely Worship too. Disappointing that Tithely hasn't invested in its development to make it a viable product.
