I would like to be able to assign multiple roles to people in a group so that these appear in personal profiles & in group reporting.

Use case / example:

Our growth groups are set up as groups with attendance reporting enabled. I need to assign Leaders / Assistant leaders as such for them to receive attendance reporting reminders.

We have a custom role within our groups called 'Mission champ'.

Often this role is held by a non-leader of the group. But sometimes a person is both a group leader and the mission champ. Currently we can't show that using group roles within the group as each person can only be assigned one role.

I would like to be able to assign the custom role 'Mission champ' to a group leader without removing or compromising the function of their built-in 'Leader' role.

My mission team leaders would love to be able to easily identify all the mission champs, and to identify groups without a mission champ assigned. We are creating clunky workarounds to make this possible, but the ability to assign multiple group roles within the same group to one person would be helpful.

(Incredible bonus option - make group reporting using custom roles possible too!)
