Notifications for chat in Groups

I see that once I am in the groups section of our app there is a notification in the top right corner. But unless group members regularly check the app this is almost useless. This should notify people through push that there is a new chat for them to view in their group. I currently have leaders opting for group text because of this issue.

I just came here to make this recommendation. We are using the group for one of my leadership groups, and they keep missing discussion.

This would be extremely helpful. We have the app but it's not effective for us because of not having this feature. Our groups still use GroupMe
